The process to make create the labels was not an easy process. It didn't provide a dare when it would be ready and it was difficult to get a hold of someone.

I hope Artisan Clubs is successful, as the people there were really nice, and I hope to participate in a membership one day. However, I was disappointed with the Groupon deal. I was under the impression guests would get appetizers and beer pairings, but the "appetizers" were bar nuts, fruit salad, pretzel thins, and cheese. Thankfully, the owners invited us back next month for another tasting event, because otherwise this Groupon would not have been worth the price, in my opinion.

Perhaps we just came on a bad day, but we were not impressed with the selection of beer samples available. There was way too much emphasis on IPAs, which while popular with some, neither my husband nor I enjoy. There were no Weiss or Belgian beers, and minimal on the lighter side.

I didn't think their wine was very good. You got 10 samples and out of those 10 samples it was hard to pick one good one or at least one that stood out.

They seemed completely unprepared for the amount of people who showed up which seems odd considering it was a one night only event. While I was going to sample a piece of cheese, an employee pulled the plate out from under my hand and said "no more cheese" and took it away. Some of the tastings were BAD...other attendees were talking about the quality also and commenting that they were having difficulty even deciding which wine to choose as their take home bottle since they just weren't good wines. I feel bad saying this because the employees were friendly but I think the event could've been handled better.

Very friendly server. Food was simple but nice. I enjoyed the blind tastings. I went with 3 young teachers and they really enjoyed it also. Can't wait to do the beer and wine one.

The store was way too small for way too many people. Stood in line for 3 breweries for over 20 minutes to only sample an ounce of beer from each. Ridiculous!

From Our Editors

What could be better than a glass of artisanal beer or wine? How about that same glass, plus an expert to curate the experience, and also you have a talking dog? With Artisan Clubs, you can achieve most of that dream. Members of the World of Wine Club will receive select presses from established regions all over the world, and members of Artisan Beers enjoy similarly elite microbrews. And then there's the Pacific Northwest Wine Club, which propagates the varietals specifically from Oregon and Washington.
