Chili was great and the maple cornbread was the most delicious thing I've tasted in ages.

More seasoning in the breakfast dishes would make them even better.

Service was lacklustre, bordering on rude and food was not great.

service is sometimes a bit slow but always friendly. Good solid food at good prices, a good neighbourhood standby.

They could "warm up" the ambience a little to suit the wintertime. It felt kinda clammy upstairs on the landing where we ate. But food was fine and the location and overall sense of place is excellent.
