definitely wasn't the best hamburger I ever had. It was very dry and for a 1/4 lb. burger it was pretty small.

The building, parking lot, bathrooms, dining area are in disrepair and rundown. The food was passable but I was worried what the kitchen looked like considering the poor first impression that Stewart's made. I know that the Stewart's restaurants are individually owned so if you want to see Stewart's done right visit the one in Tuckerton, Nj.

Great retro experience. You can even get a car hop to your car or eat in with real retro ambiance. Food was good with some never before seen combos and, of course, the root beer!!!

From Our Editors
Stewart's Root Beer was established in 1924, and to this day it proudly serves up drafts of its signature frosty soda. That's not the only star of the show, however. Sandwiches, pork rolls, burgers, and hot dogs populate the menu, accompanied by crispy fries that can be topped with bacon and cheese. Friendly servers dish out meals inside the roadside stand, but customers are also invited to stay in their cars and sit under the neon lights for carhop service, a nod to the spot's long history.
