From Our Editors
Before Zach Apodaca began helping wipe away tension in his native Tucson, he completed 1,000 hours of practice. He uses this experience to alleviate pain and improve range of motion through Swedish or deep-tissue massage. During injury-management massage, he applies special techniques to heal old car, sports, or pillow-fight injuries. He performs sports massage to help athletes prepare for games by reducing inflammation and actively stretching muscles, and he uses hot stones to melt away stress and help with blood circulation.
