You came a day later than our agreed-upon date. During that missed day, you kept telling me that you were "working on it," but you NEVER communicated with me, and NEVER really informed me that you were NOT going to move me on our scheduled day. I had to keep calling you, and when I did, I repeatedly received your voice mail telling me that your "mailbox is full. Please try again later."
This is pretty awful customer service.
You never even called to tell me that you'd be coming the next day! The next thing I heard from your company was on the next morning, when the actual moving guys called me to say they were 45 minutes away! I had to miss a day of work to stay home, HOPING that you'd show up - since you never called me to tell me what the "revised plan" was going to be, I was never really sure!
The movers who actually came were nice guys. But, I have multiple furniture pieces (kitchen table, end table, desk top, etc) that now have scratches, dents, and paint marks (where the furniture pieces rubbed against doorways).
On your website, you say, "The most important thing we do is to pad your goods, in your home before loading as well as padding the floors and doorways of both locations of the move. We care about making sure your furniture made it safely to your new location and that no damage occurs during the moving process. " I had three items that were padded, and that's it. My dented, scratched furniture was clearly not padded. There were no doorways or floors padded at either location. You make this statement on your website to point out the kinds of things that make you different from your competition - I disagree - you are not any different than your competitors; in fact, based on my experience, I think your competitors have a great number of advantages over you. I'm sorry, but I could not recommend your services to anyone needing movers.
(Okay, here's the disclaimer: because of the Groupon coupon, my move was incredibly inexpensive. I guess I got what I paid for, eh? Shame on me for trying to save money.)
