Owned by a dynamic mom-and-pop duo, T. Ferrieri's dishes out a wide range of traditional, homemade Italian fare cooked completely from scratch. Italian staples such as the veal parmesan ($12.50) and the lasagna dinner with garlic bread and side salad ($11) spur taste buds into a silent standing ovation with every harmonious bite. A 20-inch extra-large pizza ($13.50) covers seasonally inappropriate placemats with fresh dough, red sauce or garlic and oil, and savory toppings such as cappicola, pineapple, and feta cheese ($2/topping). The eggplant-parmesan sub ($16 for 2 ft.) and the house salad loaded with onions, carrots, and tomatoes ($5) hit lighter notes for roving packs of opposable-thumbed herbivores. Patrons can pick up their fill with a carryout order or have meals delivered free of charge to domiciles within a 5- to 7-mile radius of T. Ferrieri’s.
