Groupon was for cut, deep conditioning & blow dry. Not sure that it was "deep" , whatever that means: seemed like just regular shampoo/conditioning at the sink.

I had medium length hair and was needing a change in hairstyle. I consulted the hairstylist (Shane) and he gave me his input on the pictures I had as I was unsure if the shorter length would be complimentary. I am happy to say I love my hairstyle and my friends love it too. Even though it was my suggestion to go shorter, I appreciate Shane's honesty. He also gave my helpful styling tips for my new hairstyle. As well, I get 20% off of my next appointment.

I did not redeem my groupon at luscious salon. My stylist did not show up for our appointment. The staff did not realize this until after my hair was washed. Another stylist dried my hair and sent me home. They asked me to pay tax on the groupon, and that they would honor it another day with the same stylist. I hope she shows up next time, as I spend $6.50 for one hour parking and a tip to the stylist who dried my hair. A courteous/thoughtful thing to do for the client's inconvenience is to not charge the customer the tax for the groupon, or pay for her parking, but that was not the case. If a salon expects 24 hours notice of client cancellation, the stylists should do the same.

I was so incredibly disappointed with my experience yesterday at Luscious Salon. Not only was my cut horrible, the girl that cut my hair obviously either hated her job or hated the fact that I was redeeming a Groupon. On top of that, I really felt like I was being scammed. They charged me and extra $7 "cover charge" for stepping foot into their salon. I know for a fact that there was no such charge mentioned when I purchased it in the fine print. As well, when I tried to ask her what the cover charge was for she just kind of mentioned that "it was their policy" - that doesn't explain much now does it?? Oh, I forgot to mention that the "partial highlights" actually means 3 foils. What a joke.

Lots of hidden cost that were not explained before paying at the end. Unprofessional front end staff and uncomfortable vibe in the space.

The girl,who took my appointment made a mistake. I had told her I have the groupon coupon, but somehow she booked me for an hour. Tina, who was to cut my hair couldn't, so she gave me Raydell. Turns out I'm really happy with Raydell, so ally's good. It was a blessing in disguise.
