It's hard to be bored while dining at Posh Restaurant. That's because the eatery specializes in sukiyaki—a social, hands-on style of dining that centers around communal pots filled with broth in flavours such as cabbage or pork-peppercorn. As the broth simmers, servers present guests with another essential element of sukiyaki: plates of tender sliced beef, pork, noodles, and seasonal vegetables such as enoki mushrooms and crisp bok choy. As diners sit around the table-top caldron, they poach each of these morsels in the rich consommé, inhaling the mouthwatering aromas that rise from the pot or attempting to bottle them for future use as a savory cologne. Though sukiyaki is Posh Restaurant's primary offering, guests can upgrade meals to include orders of delicately sweet dungeness crabs.
