Try their macaron classes. You get to mix ingredients and pipe your own macarons in groups of 4-5. Very well taught and easy to follow

Dont go alone bring friends since you will need to wait for the macarons to be baked. It would be so boring if you don't have friends to keep accompanied.

They are going through a name change. It is no longer simply french. Exterior of the building is black... Incase you are looking for it. Cool experience. I would recommend you try this place!

Simply French has changed ownership and is now 'Professor and the Pigeon' - Tim and his staff were very accommodating and I would definitely recommend this experience. We went for a '50'th birthday and had a fabulous time

It was kinda expensive for the experience I received. I would have liked to be more hands on and received more macaroons for the price I paid. Staff were friendly though, and I would definitely recommend Sarah the instructor again.

Expected a class of 8-10 customers... turned out to be a group of 18-20. Was expecting to be hands on with macaron making, turns out it was just a demonstration with minimal participation. location for class was sad... couldnt even hear the instructor speak. tea time meal was dissapointing. felt like i paid $50 to stand around for 2 hours. and drink a glass of orange juice. not trying to be mean.. but just explaining how i honestly felt about the class

Please clean your glasses before serving beverages. All it takes is a quick wipe down with a clean cloth- I used my shirt.Would also be nice if it was mentioned that the class was not hands on- and that we were just going to stand around a table to watch. Was disappointed upon arrival.

From Our Editors

For six months, Isobel Drummond and her husband sojourned across France with their two teenage daughters, seeking out the country’s best cafés. The couple lingered over coffee and macarons in Paris, Bordeaux, St. Tropez, Marseille, and Nice. Now, at Simply French Cafe, they strive to capture the welcoming ambiance and gourmet foods they enjoyed in their favourite French eateries.

Simply French’s crystal chandeliers and Toulouse-Lautrec posters pop against dark wooden floors and exposed ceiling beams. Customers linger over paninis, tiramisu, and French-style pastries served on delicate pastel china. And in the evenings, a hands-on macaron-making class lets students create their own confections without the difficulty of growing meringues from seed.
