Scheduling an appointment was easy. The technician was late, but he called ahead to let us know he was running behind. He was very friendly.
I'm fairly disappointed with the cleaning. It took him about 15 minutes to clean our entire house, 5 minutes in each room. I guess you get what you pay for, but I didn't realize that being offered a discount meant that quality of service would suffer. I would have gladly paid more to have the job done right, rather than just a quick once-over. Granted, my carpets are brown so it's difficult to see the difference after the cleaning. He showed us the dirt coming up, so I know that they are cleaner than they were, but they still are not clean carpets. Shame, I guess I will have to clean them myself anyway, which is what I was trying to avoid.
Also, I was charged a "sales tax" in cash by the technician. First of all, I have used Groupon several times before, and never have I had to pay extra in addition to the price of the Groupon. Secondly, the sales tax (8.4% in Washington) on a $60 purchase equals $5.04. He charged me $6.04. So they are making an extra dollar on each job they do. Seems wrong to me, especially for a less than desirable job done.
