The ambiance and service were just fine. The food was reasonably good, but not spectacular enough to justify the prices, and a glass of wine was on the high side.
...as new customers, we'd have appreciated more info-sharing re: the menu... upselling - 'would we like bread'? - and more timely attentiveness from the servers... I get that it was likely intended to be a 'leisurely experience' but... it was long and drawn out... Interesting - but not likely an outing that any in my group will repeat, unfortunately. Sorry.
The reservation call is not easy to make though, so I suggest to start trying about one week early.
Very poor customer service, as though they were doing us a favour by being open.....very por menu, a printed piece of paper, very unprofessional !!
Food was the worst I had ever eat.it was expensive for what we got.Left leaving very disappointed meat was so tough we couldn't eat it,very small dishes .Would never go back there.
great food and loved the live music!!
Service was excellent! Coffee was also excellent. And the atmosphere is great, nice building, good location. But the food was only ok. Please take this as constructive advise: there is nothing on your menu that is 'traditional'. I feel like you may be losing potential customers because, if even just one of a group, doesn't like variation on a standard (eg, lettuce and beef on a benny) the group will go elsewhere. Keep the originality, but add a bacon & egg with toast and a traditional benny too. My benny advertised asparagus but it was so minimal that I really had to search for it.
Service was slow with only one waitress for the whole place at a busy Sunday lunch. I find the place a bit dark, although funky, and the food was so-so. It seemed like my eggs Benedict had been sitting around a while before being served, plus there wasn't much sauce on it, and there was no option to have some fruit on the side. Otherwise it was ok, not bad, but not good enough that I'd be tempted to return.
very good service coffee was the best in all i give it an 8
First time eating experience at Superior St. Bistro. We went for Sunday Brunch and were not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food selection was good, well presented and tasty. Pricing was not unreasonable.
