Michelle McDonald brings a touch of the island to New Jersey with a menu full of Jamaican specialties. At her modest storefront in Vineland, the lifelong chef spins together heaping, made-to-order portions of jerk pork, jerk chicken, curried goat, and numerous brown stews. But Michelle doesn't stop there: she also makes from-scratch ginger beer, as well as cornbread that's become a local legend. She makes it easy to enjoy her cooking, too, since customers can eat in, get takeout, or even opt for catering.
