This was our first time visiting the petting zoo, which was a blast with our 5 year old! The new aviary makes such a great addition to the animals already there, buy multiple seed sticks and watch as the little cute birds perch on your hand/arm! I also recommend purchasing the season pass because we plan to visit as often as weather permits.

Great place for family outing. We went today, the kids rode the ponies, we fed the goats, fed the birds, etc. You can hold the chickens and really interact with the animals. Great Buy

When we got there the woman said it was free for under 2. We thought it was 2 and under or under 3. She let us in.

Had to pay for most of the games and all the food. Plus the kids were only allowed 3 Easter eggs in the hunt.

It was fine. The animals are naturally the best part. The Easter egg hunt was meh. 70 percent of the eggs were gone already and hard to find a few. Felt bad for the people after us. Small amounts of candy in there equal to about a dollar or two total worth of smarties and tootsie rolls, stickers. Best thing they got in an egg was a plastic dinosaur about an inch long. No carnival rides at Easter time. Same blow up bouncy houses as in the Fall. Best thing of all was holding rabbits or chicks. Not much for sale plantwise, you'd think there'd be more for sale....food was very limited. One thing I HATED was going through the building out, they had "games" you could play. You walk up and grab a fishing pole to fish for say plastic fish and they said it's FREE. But when your kid gets the fish, they say that'll be $4 for a blow up guitar or whatever they had there. So it's not free to win a prize. They should have the prizes AWAY from the games to purchase just as a purchase. It's a scam to make you buy the prize is all it is. Every kid wins they say. But then you walk away and your kid says where's my prize? You all end up buying $4 prizes for each game for each kid and walk out 30 bucks poorer for junk that won't be used an hour after they get it.

Nice petting zoo. You can bring a picnic lunch, tables are available. Small plant section near the parking area, along with gifts and souveniers, and drinks. Bring quarters for the feed machines, or buy cups of feed at the entrance.
