From Our Editors
At Sushi Smackdown, each restaurant will serve 17 of their appetizers, rolls, sushi, and desserts which guest will be able to sample and rate. The result will be included as part of a new TV show being filmed across the country. The event helps restaurant-goers get to know each restaurant's staff and their specific menu.
To make their way onto the show, they'll be serving their best dishes to try to win your vote at a competitive dining event. Appetizers, sushi rolls, sashimi, and maybe even a few special surprise items all await diners as they arrive at the event, where they will be seated in groups in order to get to know their fellow minglers as the restaurant presents 17 of their best menu items. The event, hosted by fun personalities of Savi Productions, could be filmed for the show and promotes mingling amongst guests and staff. Other entertainment will be included—perhaps a sushi roll eating contest or sake bomb contest.
