I like the product however need better organization on kitchen staff . Had some problems in the past with service , the pizza is good . If it wasn't I would look else where to buy . The staff was indifferent to their misshap and it took me 45 min to get what I wanted. The reason staff not working together, communication ( NEVER PUT ORDER IN .) I did call ahead of time to pick up.

Restaurant has gone down hill. I spent $35 for a couple of pizza's for a house party and they were burnt to a crisp and nobody liked the pizza. I don't think I we be going back again.

I am sorry to say that the restaurant is not best suited for anything if the food is not good. I have already responded to Groupon regarding the unappealng and unappetizing pizza that I shared with family last Friday. It was a waste of my time and money. If my experience is an example of their food, then I can't believe they are still in business.

The pizza used to be great not it is over priced and not that good. Seems as though there is little effort and I've had better pizza from the local mom and pop joints tht charge $10 for a large. They have seriously gone down hill and can see why they have filed for bankruptcy.

Personally feel that the Waltham location is going to fail due to high cost of your product. Without the groupon, I personally would not pay $44.00 for 2 large pizzas. This might work in the Back bay due to higher income and populace but not in blue collar areas such as waltham which consists of working class and students.

I love the crust and ingredients, but when I ordered the large pizza the ingredients weren't spread out too evenly, especially toward the edges. I only bit into crust.

The Upper Crust is pretty good Pizza. They have branched out over the past few years adding many shops throughout the Boston suburbs. The shop located on Moody St in Waltham is far from great. I've been there twice. The first time it took them over an hour for 2 pizzas. They weren't busy at all. they told me 20 minutes. I waited an additional 30 minutes. The next time I went they gave me the wrong pizza. I didn't notice it until I got home. The pizza wasn't that bad, but I wish I got what I ordered. In a nutshell, this place has pretty good pizza, but the shop in Waltham needs to step up its game!

From Our Editors

Since its founding in 2001, The Upper Crust Pizzeria has fashioned artful thin-crust pizzas in 19 storefronts with modern, architectural touches. Chefs craft specialty pies inspired by local landmarks, from the sundried-tomato cobblestones of the Beacon Hill to the pesto-painted walls of the Green Monster. Diners can opt to spread sweet sauce over a regular or whole-wheat crust or request that any pie be served white without sauce, and combine slices with crisp salads or pounce on the geometric goodness of a spinach square or half moon-shaped calzone. Restaurant interiors are accoutered with modern flourishes such as flat-screen TVs and pan-decorated ceilings, allowing one to lie down and admire their reflection before a postmeal nap.
