I got the 60 minute massage Groupon, and I hate to say, but I was very disappointed. I got there and was taken to my room right on time for my appointment. I got undressed and laid down and she brought heating pads to lay down on the backside of my body. I laid there a solid 10 minutes before I realized she was actually finishing up another client. There are only partial wall partitions, so you can hear everything going on in the place. After that she moved the heating pads to my lower body and disappeared for about another 10 minutes. I was a little confused, and hoping this wasn’t counted in my 60 minutes, but it turns out it was. The massage I got was very disappointing as well. Most of it felt like she was just rubbing hot stones on me without any sort of actual massage. She also used an electric massager on me as well, which I thought was really strange. That was something I’ve never had done by a professional. The only real attention she paid to the problem area I discussed was a hard stretch of my neck. I left with the same pain I went with. It didn’t feel like a massage done by a professional. The therapist was really sweet and friendly though, so I wanted to be happy, but it was just not a good experience. As noted in another review, be aware that you’re required to pay an additional $20 for the appointment when you’re there. That’s not noted anywhere on the purchased Groupon.
