Fun, informative tour. The flight of beers at Gordon Biersch was a nice way to finish off the night.

Late to meet us, dangerous and illegal driving, driver badmouthed drivers/police/etc throughout, no wine, extremely disorganized and unprofessional... an appalling ride peppered with some pretty views of DC. After living in the area for decades, we know how hard this town can be, but our experience with this company was truly awful.

Adding cup holders would be nice. It was a lot of fun and would mostly add this to my to do list every year.

The ride and the driver were awesome! However, the company that "organized" it were anything but organized. The confirmation order had Pacific Time on it, even though it was a DC tour (obviously EST). Not a really bid deal, but I think it shows the lack of attention to detail. Also, the confirmation had two different tours listed, so it was confusing; I wasn't sure which one I was booked for and had to call the office. The driver was waiting at the wrong spot, and no one answered the phone when I called to inquiry his whereabouts. Our driver said he was told the street but not the specific spot. It all worked out in the end, and we had a great time, but not sure I'd book with them again.

From Our Editors

After having 70% of her quadriceps removed because of a tumor, Shaady Fakhrai was indefinitely confined to a wheelchair. Though relearning to walk was the first step, her ultimate goal was to get back on her beloved bicycle. She dedicated herself to exceeding the expectations of her recovery, and regained enough leg strength to start riding. In fact, she was so grateful to be mobile again that she eventually found herself cycling up to 40 miles a day. She couldn’t even bear to tear herself away from her favorite pastime to go to work, so she gave up her teaching career and started a pedicab business.

But, Shaady didn’t completely abandon her educator instinct. In fact, she guarantees that tourists and locals alike can learn up to 10 new things about DC during her tours. She and her team lead sightseeing outings that take visitors past the National Mall or the Tidal Basin, or they can pedal Washingtonians deep into the ‘hood of their choice to introduce them to great bars, new restaurants, and the fire hydrants that know the best neighborhood gossip. Passengers can also embark on themed explorations with topics as varied as the Washington Wizards, the Lincoln assassination, and wine tasting.
