We had an enjoyable time (albeit freezing!) and the food was great. However, I was unimpressed with the Godiva stop. We had a white chocolate square; I can buy that at Target...

They cancelled my tour twice with only 2 days notice prior. According to the website, 90% of the tours go on according to plan, but it doesn't seem that way. I had a group of 4 so having to keep coordinating all our schedules to reschedule the tours was very difficult. When I contacted Best Tours, they said that sometimes their guides don't show up or other things happen and they just cancel the tours. I didn't want to have this keep happening - so buyer beware!

Not too shabby, full of fun facts. Your guide was very nice and experienced. Truly a taste test not many sweets. Only one local shop which was disappointing but the other shops were local to Georgetown area

After buying groupon, you have to schedule the tour on "best tours" website. Really bad customer service. Contacted them for help and only got a useless response. Ended up asking groupon for a refund of this groupon. Will NEVER work with "best tours" ever again!

I wasn't able to go on a tour because the y cancelled two days before, twice! Both times I had tours scheduled as birthday gifts for a friend. Don't bother.

In order to use this groupon, you have to reserve the date and time of your tour on "Best Tours" website, which is horrible. Even though you have already purchased the groupon they still request your credit card information on Best Tours website (+ the groupon code) and when I sent them a message requesting help, I didn't get an answer. Sent another msg and got the same automated (useless) reply. They don't help you. Ended up asking for money back for these groupons.
Really bad Customer Service from "Best Tours".

We tried for weeks to get a booking, it always said they were fully booked. We finally got a reservation by booking 3 weeks in advance. Two days before the tour, we received an email saying the tour had been cancelled due to low numbers. Do not book this tour, just go to Georgetown and eat chocolate on your own!

Description says seven stops and there were only four stops. We were a little disappointed with that. The stops that we did make were very nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Georgetown, and the shops on the tour.
Best Tours introduces locals and visitors to the best food, coffee, and desserts in five cities—New York, Chicago, DC, New Orleans, and London. During the walking tours, groups of up to 20 people promenade through the cities' scenic neighborhoods, stopping to sample New York's cream cheese-smeared bagels, London's fish and chips, DC's artisan chocolates, and Chicago’s sausage-flavored lampposts. During tours, which occur rain or shine, participants are encouraged to wear walking-appropriate attire such as comfortable shoes.
