It was difficult to get in contact with someone regarding the tour. And once on the tour it was a large group that spent most of the time walking instead of talking about the content, not to mention the fact that the tour guide didn't have "stage presence."

Was not worth the money even with the Groupon. It was a chocolate tour of Georgetown.

Do not schedule with this company!! I scheduled a tour twice before my Groupon expired and both times they cancelled my tour - and never let me use the promotional amount I spent to buy the groupon even after it expired. Stay away from them!

Super fun!
We got to taste chocolate from 4 different places in Georgetown, DC. Our tour guide was friendly, knew a lot about the historic sites of the area, kept a quick pace, and made sure we were in the shady areas when we stopped (it was 89 degrees!), and did a stop at a convenience store for water.
If doing one a tour in G-Town, I'd suggest to bring comfy shoes, water/hot drink (seasonal), and sunglasses.

They cancelled our tour without telling us. Waste of time.

Best Tours canceled on me twice within 24 hours of the tour. They canceled Friday evening for the Saturday tour. When rebooked they canceled again the night before the tour. I doubt these tours actually take place at all.

On 4/14 they cancelled my tour for 4/16 without any explanation. Their cancellation came via text and while they said that an email would be sent to me to reschedule, I never received that email. I followed up by sending 2 separate emails to their support team and did not get a response until today 4/19, several days after my tour was supposed to occur. I ended up contacting the company on 4/14 using their chat feature, as no one picked up on their phone line, and they were unable to explain why both tours on 4/16 had been cancelled. They were unable to accommodate me in any way other than to say I should reschedule for a later date.
I intend to go on the tour in June, as that was my next available date, as long as it's not cancelled. I am incredibly frustrated and will certainly not use their tour service again in Washington, DC or any other area.
Best Tours introduces locals and visitors to the best food, coffee, and desserts in five cities—New York, Chicago, DC, New Orleans, and London. During the walking tours, groups of up to 20 people promenade through the cities' scenic neighborhoods, stopping to sample New York's cream cheese-smeared bagels, London's fish and chips, DC's artisan chocolates, and Chicago’s sausage-flavored lampposts. During tours, which occur rain or shine, participants are encouraged to wear walking-appropriate attire such as comfortable shoes.
