Best Tours has rescheduled twice on me, both last minute and will not give me my money back. Very difficult to reschedule the first tour that they cancelled just to have the rescheduled tour cancelled last minute as well.

This company is absolutely terrible to work with. I booked my Cupcake & Macaron Tour of DC for February 6, 2016. They sent a cancellation text less than 24 hours before the tour saying, "Regrettably your tour has been postponed due to low numbers. Please reschedule." So I rescheduled for their next available tour on April 3, 2016. Less than 48 hours before this tour I received the same text yet again. Apparently you have to book a date, reschedule, book again, reschedule again, and book again over the course of several months and you may never end up getting a tour. So you make plans and set days aside for these plans just to have them cancelled over and over at the last minute. It's completely ridiculous. Save your money.

The tour and tour guide were actually fantastic but the booking process was extremely difficult. I booked 1 month before the groupon expired and there were only 2 timeslots left to choose from (and it was not obvious from the website which they were- I had to use the "chat" function). Then it took several days between clicking "order" and getting the email with the tickets (I emailed to ask when to expect the tickets. I don't know if I would have gotten them otherwise)

We did not receive all of the cupcakes promised in the itinerary. Georgetown Cupcakes didn't receive the order for the tour.

Tried scheduling twice in Jan./Feb. 2016 and both were cancelled. I then showed up on a Saturday and the tour guide never showed. The Best Tours customer service that runs the tour has been terrible.

The tour of Georgetown was almost as good as the delicious confections enjoyed along the way. Almost :)
Best Tours introduces locals and visitors to the best food, coffee, and desserts in five cities—New York, Chicago, DC, New Orleans, and London. During the walking tours, groups of up to 20 people promenade through the cities' scenic neighborhoods, stopping to sample New York's cream cheese-smeared bagels, London's fish and chips, DC's artisan chocolates, and Chicago’s sausage-flavored lampposts. During tours, which occur rain or shine, participants are encouraged to wear walking-appropriate attire such as comfortable shoes.
