Confusing to find place where they need you to meet up. Some places are crowded and take a while. But overall we liked it.

It was a chocolate tour, but there was no history of chocolate, only a history of Georgetown

Cupcakes are smaller, sample sizes so you won't fill up too much!

The event is billed as a cupcake tour of Cow Hollow, however there are several stops on the tour where we were not served cupcakes (chocolate shop & boulangerie). Our guide was an actress who didn't know anything about the neighborhood or about the shops in our stops. So basically we were charged $25 (with Groupon) for six desserts which seems exorbitant.

Our guide was amazing. Despite the rain, she got us from shop to shop in a snap. Great variety of sweets - not just candy bars - so while everything was chocolate, the palate was so diverse that the taste buds did not get bored! She had a passion for the city and was highly knowledgeable about chocolate (of course!). We hope to meet her again on a future tour.

I tried several times to schedule the tour. Each time I received a confirmation email and then several hours later I received another email saying that the tour had been cancelled due to low numbers.
Best Tours introduces locals and visitors to the best food, coffee, and desserts in five cities—New York, Chicago, DC, New Orleans, and London. During the walking tours, groups of up to 20 people promenade through the cities' scenic neighborhoods, stopping to sample New York's cream cheese-smeared bagels, London's fish and chips, DC's artisan chocolates, and Chicago’s sausage-flavored lampposts. During tours, which occur rain or shine, participants are encouraged to wear walking-appropriate attire such as comfortable shoes.
