It was very interesting and the hostess definitely knew her subject matter well. We learned a great deal about the history of Granbury as well as the ghosts that still dwell within the limestone walls of the old historic square. The only suggestion would be getting permission to enter at least one building during the tour (maybe the old jail).

This wasn't just a "Ghost Hunt" it was a very educational tour of the area around the square of Granbury. We want to stay for a weekend now. It was a great promotion for other businesses as well.

This is an excellent very fun and very informative tour!! I would recommend it for anyone!! The tour guide was awesome but moves at a pretty fast pace. If you attend with a large group I would recommend you stay close to the front so you can continue to adequately hear the information.

Very interesting...host did a great job!! Had a couple of young adults that talked and giggled the whole time which was very disrespectful to all us others that wanted to be there and hear the stories but other than that it was great!!!

Would also like some more history of Granbury. I had someone on the tour that went before and they said their tour guide told a lot more of the history with the ghost stories.

From Our Editors

In a feature showcasing Granbury Ghosts and Legends Tour, a My San Antonio writer mused, "Maybe the connection of the past to the present is stronger in old towns like Galveston and Granbury." Perhaps Granbury, which was founded in 1854, is a paranormal hot spot because it teems with unresolved murders and historic conflict. Legend has it that the infamous outlaw Jesse James died here, and that his final resting place is the grave of an unknown man.

The knowledgeable guides at Granbury Ghosts and Legends—mother-daughter team Coletta and Brandy—explore these centuries-old, supernatural conflicts with their historical tours. Dressed in Civil War period costume, they guide groups through the town square and presumably haunted buildings in pursuit of such celebrated local spirits as the Lady in Red, the Faceless Girl, and Indian Joe. The tour has been named one of the seven best ghost tours in the country by Frommer's.
