From Our Editors
The White Elephant's Chef Alfredo and Chef Pete don't walk the line between New American cuisine and comfort food so much as they gleefully skip back and forth over it. Their signature brand of farmhouse fare plays with conventions, resulting in a menu that gives equal air time to dishes such as the bacon mac 'n' cheese burger and more upscale creations like the ahi tartare tossed with soy ginger. Such is their dedication to quality that they even grow artichokes in-house for their fire roasted artichoke starter, and smokes their own pork chops. The dessert menu reflects the same balance with creations such as a coffee ice-cream sundae served in a fried elephant ear or the spiced ginger cake served with cardamom whipped cream.
With sleekly cozy seating, an outdoor patio with obsidian tabletops, and a dining room full of carefully curated décor accents, The White Elephant creates an approachable environment.
