To qualify for a Refer-A-Friend Offer ("New Customer Referral Offer") from American Eagle Outfitters, Aerie or Tailgate (collectively, "AEO"), the referred person (the "Referral") must (i) be a new customer (new customers have not previously made an AEO, Aerie or Tailgate purchase as determined by AEO in its sole discretion), (ii) as of the date of their participation, be eighteen (18) years of age or older; (iii) use a referral link provided via email, Facebook, or SMS and (iv) make a purchase in American Eagle Outfitters®, Aerie® or Tailgate® stores in the USA (including PR) and Canada or Ae.com®, Aerie.com or on Tailgate merchandise at Ae.com® prior to the promo code's expiration. Referral will be required to provide his/her email address before being able to use the New Customer Referral Offer. In addition to email and/or address match verification, AEO reserves the right, and may employ other techniques, to confirm that the Referral has not previously made a purchase with AEO, Aerie or Tailgate. The New Customer Referral Offer provided to the Referral will expire within thirty (30) days of the date of activation. Referring customers ("Referring Customers") will receive an email with their Referring Customer Offer ("Referring Customer Offer") once the Referral is confirmed and verified. The Referring Customer Offer will expire on the date designated on such coupon. The referring customer ("Referring Customer") must have a current, valid email address on record with AEO in order to be eligible to receive the Referring Customer Offer. Referring Customers are limited to referring two Referrals per household. Referring Customers may only earn one (1) referral credit per Referral. In the event a Referral returns a purchased item and their lifetime order value decreases below the minimum purchase amount, the referral credit awarded to the referring customer will be rescinded. Referring Customers may not refer anyone who is not a new customer under an alternate email address. Customers may not use spam or send unsolicited emails to persons with whom he/she does not personally know or have direct, voluntary two-way communications. Referring Customers may not collect Referrals by posting the invite other than as expressly permitted in these Terms and Conditions. In addition, customers may not post the unique link on any AEO social media site. AEO and its affiliates' employees and franchisees (and their spouses/domestic partners) are not eligible to participate in the Refer a Friend program. Any failure to meet the above requirements may result in disqualification at AEO's sole discretion.
