Shrimp parmigiana was very cheap on the shrimp - only 3 pieces of flattened shrimp that seemed to be burnt because it was twice cooked or someone else's leftovers. Cheap on the pasta serving as well and overpriced at that at about $15. This place is not cheap. You can go to a restaurant instead of this pizzeria for the price they ask for. The servers have slight attitude and barely spreak English so you can't ask for any special dishes or modifications to anything but point to what's behind the glass window.

Need better dessert options. Chocolate Mousse is lisated, but not available. Out of cheescake. $4.50 sttep for a single cannoli. Also could use more bottled soda choices.

The young lady who was the cashier when I was there was very friendly...but her math seemed a bit suspect. (She said that, if my order remained as 2 slices and a cup of soda, then it'd cost around $5+ so perhaps I'd want to order something else...but, when I did {an order of garlic bread} I ended up paying $1.91 out-of-pocket...not a lot of money but it made me wonder if her calculations included the soda or not...)

From Our Editors

Mario and Anna Abitino emigrated from Naples to the U.S. in 1972. Mario quickly found work in the pizza business, and the couple eventually opened a restaurant of their own: Abitino’s Pizza and Italian Kitchen, in Midtown Manhattan. That was more than 20 years ago. Today, the couple and their three sons, Dominick, Mario Jr., and Salvatore, run six New York pizzerias bearing the family name. Each offers an expansive menu of signature pizzas and other Italian entrees, such as gnocchi sorrentino and pasta stuffed with fresh littleneck clams. Their pizzas and calzones use dough made right on the premises, and their tomato sauce is also housemade—with tomatoes from Naples, naturally.
