On ArtCrawl Harlem's tours, participants walk through the iconic neighborhood, stopping at art spots rarely frequented by tourists. Sometimes, the tour pulls up at an unassuming building with a chic new media gallery tucked inside; other times, it makes it way on a street corner adorned with a sprawling mural or an especially red fire hydrant. En route, guides introduce native New Yorkers and world travelers alike to the local culture, sharing information on the art and the area. Food and beverages are included in the tour.
