Calling all you ready dancers out there! So, you think you can book a dance gig? Well hone your skills and pick up some knowledge from Dancer/Choreographer Jamal Story of Broadway and Madonna & Cher tours, and Bre O'Toole from elite dance agency MSA!
Each Singer will sing two 16 bar cuts (one up tempo & one ballad ) of 'Golden Age/Classic Broadway' repertoire (Rodgers & Hart/Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, Irving Berlin, Frank Loesser, Jule Styne, Burton Lane, Harold Rome, Kurt Weill, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, etc.) D. Michael will give feedback and technical suggestions following each singer's presentation. Following a short break, Jay Binder will hold a mock audition along with a brief talk back session to help you gain new understanding about today's casting process.
A Commercial Dance Clinic with Broadway Dancer
Jamal will start with technique, he'll do an intense warmup to get your body moving. He will then teach you Advanced Choreography to help you show off your best skills. From there Bre O'Toole will come in and dancers will dance in groups and then freestyle it out.

In this intensive Merri will break down the ins and outs of audition technique for musical theatre. Each singer will perform their go to pieces and she will give them invaluable feedback to help them in the audition room and beyond! Speed Seminar With Casting Director Scott Wojcik
On the night of Speed Seminar Casting Director Scott Wojcik will give artists brief overview of his history in the industry and what he looks for in artists. Artists will then leave the room and get individual time with Scott as they either sing 32 bars of a song or a 1 min monologue.
