Pijon's motto is “Deliver Love.” The company helps parents do just that by arranging carefully curated monthly care packages that help students adjust to college life. Parents pick a male, female, or gender-neutral plan that delights young scholars with high-end snacks, beauty supplies, and living essentials. Rather than subsisting on bricks of ramen or raiding public restrooms for free soap, students can feast on gourmet energy bars or shower with top-shelf body wash. Goodies change with the season, perhaps including sunscreen in spring or warm socks for winter.
With every package they order, parents are also helping kids other than their own feel cared for and ready to learn. Pijon donates a portion of its profits to Project Night Night, which sends care packages to disadvantaged children.
