The experienced fitness instructors at Center Street Yoga aim to promote healthier lifestyles through exercise, meditation, and controlled breathing. Their group yoga classes—with sessions available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced practitioners—can help students reduce stress and joint pain while toning their muscles and shedding fat.
Four different types of classes are offered, including a slower-paced beginner class that focuses on learning the postures and nursing newborn spirit animals. The Vinyasa class is more intensive, with instructors assuming students will be familiar with yoga fundamentals. But if you really want to get a vigorous workout in, head to one of the hot Vinyasa classes, where the room is heated between 85 and 95 degrees to allow for deep stretches.
