What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
As a marathon runner and certified yoga instructor, Heidy Arellano is known for her inspiring energy. She teaches at different parks in Weston bringing yoga to the community to students of all levels. She helps students get in to shape and leave the outside world behind during her Vinyasa classes.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Outdoor classes add a different dimension to one’s practice and pare yoga down to its original link with nature. “Yoga means ‘union,’ and when it’s practiced outdoors it seems like the union with nature, humanity, and the universe is truly felt.”
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Being outside can intensify the yoga experience in many ways, since nature inspires all the things you try to drive home with students—focusing awareness, breathing deeply, practicing stillness. OmYogaWeston was created with this in mind and to bring outdoor yoga to the community.
