The Cheese Platter was not good value. A tiny plank filled with crumbled blue cheese, tiny wedges of Brie and 2 varieties of cheddar, then sprinkled with a few nuts, half a Roma tomato and one slice of apple cut into more tiny bits - for $17?
I though this was an Irish place... seemed rather like you hailed from Scotland :)

Prices were incorrect for the Dessert Menu. We were charged extra. Scenery was nice however service was not the greatest and was slow.

I had the Yorkshire pudding stuffed with roast beef as the waitress said it was their best seller. I was disappointed because the Yorkist was dry and the beef was just ok. Nothing special and I would not order again.

My husband ordered a beef and Yorkshire pudding dish, and that's all he got - no potatoes or vegetables. My fish had little taste and was brought to me battered when I had ordered panko-crusted. Drinks were very expensive. All in all, a disappointing experience.

While the staff and management were quite pleasant, it was obvious that we weren't a priority, and we guessed that this was probably because we were using a groupon. Although we made reservations, we ended up at the smallest, most poorly situated table in the middle of the pub (rather than at a window, or even against a wall.) Our food took longer than the other tables....over 45 minutes after we ordered....it finally arrived. We didn't get bread at our table, but everyone else seemed to,and finally, the fish portions were very small My husband and I take my Dad out for fish and chips every weekend we can. This was a disappointment. Even though we didn't complain, we really noticed.
