Frequently Asked Questions
How many machines are in the circuit?
There are 13 hydraulic machines and an equal number of recovery/rest stations included in the circuit. The recovery/rest stations are comprised of steps and cushioned platforms.
Do you use every major muscle group in the circuit?
By completing a lap around the circuit, you work out every major muscle group in the body. Most of the machines work two muscle groups at the same time, so your workout takes half the time as a traditional gym. Also, when compared to similar workout centers, you achieve twice the workout in the same time period.
Is cardio built into the program?
Yes. In between every hydraulic machine is either a step or a platform for you to walk, jog, or run in place. This will keep you in your Fat Burning Zone or Heart Rate Zone depending on the type of results you are trying to achieve. However, you will achieve maximum cardio and strength benefits while working the hydraulic machine rapidly.
How long is the workout?
Each workout is designed to be a non-stop interval training workout lasting approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
What sets this 30-minute circuit program apart from the others?
The primary reason the Women's Fitness workout is different from our competition is due to our equipment. Our equipment is specially designed with ten resistance settings for different fitness levels. Our club adjusts the levels weekly and the length of time you are on each station so that our members always get a different workout. Also, our equipment is designed with two hydraulic-pistons instead of one, which allows twice the workout of our competitors. In some of the 30 minute workout centers, you will reach a plateau around the six-month mark, because there has been no change in your workout. Our advanced equipment helps avoid a fitness plateau and constantly challenges your body.

Women of all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels are able to benefit from this workout.
Is the workout supervised?
Our club always has at least one trainer that oversees the circuit, guiding and encouraging our members. This is very appealing to those that have never been a part of a regular exercise program. Our members find that having a trainer involved adds significantly to their results and enjoyment.
How many 30-minute visits per week does the program recommend?
For best results we suggest 3 or more times per week. You and your Women's Fitness consultant can create a realistic exercise plan that suits your lifestyle and needs. As you continue to see progress, you will begin to make it a lifestyle change.

We offer programs for all women. Our women's programs are geared specifically to women who want to get fit and stay fit in a comfortable, fun, women-only environment. These programs enable you to lose weight and tone up. Women of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
You don't have to be a seasoned athlete or bodybuilder to enjoy the benefits of a personal trainer. Personal training benefits both the person who has never worked out as well as professional athletes. Having a personal trainer can save you a lot of time, frustration and pain in your journey to achieve your health and fitness goals. Working one-on-one with our staff of certified, professional personal trainers will provide you with a highly efficient and more productive workout.
Having a personal trainer will help you reach your fitness goals quicker. Team training is an added benefit because you are working with a trainer in a small group of 3-6 women of like ability. In a group you will try harder to reach your full potential, especially when you see others doing it too. Another benefit of group training is that you are sharing the cost of a personal trainer with many of the same benefits and having fun training with other women.
A general health assessment and fitness evaluation is offered to all of our members. We suggest you get weighted and measured on a monthly basis so you have a baseline of your progress. Make sure we do the weighing and measuring before you workout for most accurate results.
Lower impact doesn't mean lower benefits! We offer fitness programs and classes specifically designed for seniors that can meet your needs through reduced impact activities. Our programs will help seniors improve cardiovascular health, flexibility, strength, stamina, balance and coordination. Women of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Stay healthy and fit with us while making some new friends.
Fit Teen Program
It's never too early to get fit and to develop healthy habits. We can be a part of your daughter's education. We acquaint your daughter with the tenets of good health and fitness for a lifetime. And best of all ... it's a lot of fun. It can also be a time for mom and daughter to spend time together. Add your teen daughter to your membership for only $10 extra per month until she graduates from high school.

Our staff is available to counsel you on ways to meet your nutritional needs and health goals. We offer education and counseling about healthy eating, preventive nutrition and lifestyle choices. Our Programs & Classes
Do it in a group! The beauty of exercising to music with a group and being led by a group exercise leader is that you tend to work harder and longer than you would on your own. The support provided by classmates who share your quest for a better body and mind can hasten success for everyone involved. In this class we will alternate between using our circuit equipment and doing low impact aerobics. This programs is for all fitness levels.
In this class we alternate between using the strength equipment and following the instructor. Fusion gives us the liberty of either doing core work or using free weights, balls, or doing aerobics. We get your heart rate up and make it fun and effective for all fitness levels.

Walk Fit Class
Walk Fit is a 20-minute fun class designed to learn how to use free weights and burn calories. In this class we move to the music using 2lb or 3lb weights. It envolves some low impact aerobics and use of the free weights. Designed for all levels of fitness.

Cardio Step Class
Step training is a variation of stair climbing in which a raised platform - or step - is employed to perform a number of routines. These step patterns ensure a high intensity workout - 30% more body fat metabolized than in traditional aerobics. However these are still low impact exercises that place only mild stress on the feet and joints. We offer programs for all fitness levels, join a class today.
Pilates is a body conditioning routine that may help build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates' system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginning to advanced. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises.
Tone it Up
Body Sculpting includes muscle strengthening and endurance workouts for all the body's major muscle groups. Because there is no dancing, jumping, stepping, or choreography to learn, body sculpting is ideal for those who dislike or can not perform high impact workouts. Body sculpting also helps to prevent osteoporosis by increasing one's bone density. Our instructors will teach proper form while leading you to a more toned and defined body.
Team Training is personal training in a group setting. You will work with a Certified Personal Trainer in a small group of 3-6 women. We like to put small groups of women together with others of like ability, so everyone gets a great workout. Please talk to our staff to see where you may fit into one of our sessions. Team Training is very effective, because you are motivated by team members, while you save on the cost of training.

Aerobics is defined as extended activities that make you breathe hard while using the large muscle groups at a regular, even pace. Aerobic activity trains the heart, lungs and cardiovascular system to process and deliver oxygen more quickly and efficiently to every part of the body. Aerobics is also helpful for weight control. An aerobically fit individual can work longer, more vigorously and achieve a quicker recovery at the end of the aerobic session.
