Plan to spend an hour and a half to two hours painting. Don't buy the hot chocolate.

Glad we Googled ceramic painting to get some ideas before going. Ideas are available there but it helped with the decision process. A fun evening with lots of assistance if needed.

The one month of unlimited painting was great! I enjoyed a fun evening with some friends and then went back with my daughter to make some Christmas presents. The staff were very helpful!

I love the store. However, the girl manning the shop, my first time there, did not explain the process very well. Specifically, she did not tell me to press lightly with the pencil. She told me this after I had drawn on one of my pieces. The store was empty, so she should have let me know about this. After rubbing it the next time it, the piece turned out fine, but I found the experience unduly stressful, as I worried until I saw the finished piece.

From Our Editors

Brush Fire Ceramic Studio hands over the creative reins to its customers, who browse a selection of more than 300 ceramic pieces while choosing the perfect figurine or plate to personalize. Then, would-be van Goghs select stencils or sketch a design freehand, flipping through books or eating the pages for inspiration. The studio time clock starts as painters dip their brushes in as many colours as they like, but visitors are never charged for more than two hours of studio time per visit. Professionals glaze and fire creations, and customers can return to pick them up in about a week before placing their pieces on mantels and gifting them to family members.
