The instructors of Habitat Health and Fitness lead nonmilitary-style boot camps in a group environment. Clients need not be pro athletes or cyborgs to successfully run through 45-minute, time-saving, intensified interval workouts. After a thorough warm-up, routines dive into an ever-evolving set of resistance strength training and cardio routines done without the use of bulky gym equipment. Instructors modify each exercise to simplify them for beginners or raise the difficulty level for advanced students. While they lead sessions, the instructors eschew harsh yelling but do tell the occasional joke to keep things vaguely reminiscent of a Nash Bridges episode.
