Service was great. However I think they should consider less options and have to pay less as well for the tastings. As I found it to be too much tea in one sitting. Also they should consider having some other sandwiches besides pb and j. But otherwise nice and quaint.

The place itself is very nice and we liked the tea. But the package was advertised as an afternoon tea including tea and edible treats and their version of that for what that stated would be retail $40 was splitting a scone for three people! I found that appalling. However the manager did alter that and gave us a scone each but I still think this was a very misleading package. I do however like the location but I do not recommend this groupon.

Their tea selection is something to behold and the people who work their are uncommonly nice. They made me a repeat customer from the first five minutes!

I was excited to taste the tea at this shop and had a 4 PM reservation. When we arrived, there were 2 tables with customers…not busy. We were given a laminated menu and told to mark down what we wanted and told to have a seat. We were not given anything to write on the laminated/wipe-off menu with, however. After a few minutes of looking at the menu, the waiter came over with a pen, chuckled and handed it to us. Instead of telling us how the tasting worked, he reprimanded us for selecting too many things. OK, we understand what we were doing, selecting 4 teas to jointly taste. The Groupon also said that we would have Tea Treats. The treats were either 2 cookies or a shared scone. OK, not really treats, plural. Our first tea was brewed and delivered. We ordered out treat and a grilled cheese sandwich. In the meantime, 3 customers came in and ordered (not all at once). We drank our tea. Let me tell you, the tea was FABULOUS!!!!! We finished our tea at 4:18. We then sat for 13 minutes with empty cups. I had to ask about the status of the next pot of tea. The grilled cheese sandwich was delivered to us at 4:31. The cheese was not melted. The second tea arrived a minute later. Again, the tea was FABULOUS!!!!! The scone was taken from an open “warehouse club” box and put on a Panini grill to warm, cut in half and served. My mother is diabetic and the choices of “treats” was lacking. At 4:43, we were asked if we were ready for the next tasting. And the fourth tasting of tea came to us without prompting at 4:58. With the Groupon, you get an ounce of tea-from a short sale list-not what is available in the store. Because the tea was so good, we opted to purchase additional tea. The wipe-off menu indicated that with the tasting, we were to receive a 10% discount on any tea purchase. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN, we were charged full price. I also realized when I got home, that were we shorted tea- a 2 ounce purchase actually weighed 1.5 ounces. Others were off as much as .15 ounces. Overall…Tea-extremely good! Everything else…sucks!
