The flavors of the Mediterranean fill plates, platters, and skewers at Kitchen Kabob. Charbroiled kabobs, of course, are the house specialty, stacked with meaty morsels of marinated beef or chicken or ground, seasoned beef or chicken flavored with parsley and onions. But the restaurant's varied menu also offers far more to tempt tastebuds, with dishes ranging from sauteed shrimp with green peppers and onions to tender quail that is charbroiled and subtly seasoned. And, with 24 hours advanced notice, the kitchen can even prepare an entire spring lamb served with rice, almonds, raisins, and boiled eggs, enough to feed a large group of people or one slightly-peckish T-Rex.
