When Bob and Lauren Bullock churned out their first 440 cases of wine in 2009, Bob joked that he hoped it was good since they might be drinking it for awhile. Eleven weeks later, the Bullocks sold the last of those cases.
Since then, Bob and Lauren have nurtured Eye of the Needle into a blossoming winery with a combination of care and alchemy. The latter of those is especially important: through relationships built over the years, Bob and Lauren acquire finished wines from other top wineries and vineyards. They then further age, blend, barrel, and filter those products and infuse them with grapes of their own, creating entirely new wines that continually earn Eye of the Needle new fans. Bob and Lauren share their creations through frequent events at the winery, including tastings, wine club gatherings, and the annual Bottles for Bread night, which raises money to fight hunger.
