Lena Suh's style of photography is informed by different pieces of her life story. Her Vietnamese-Chinese mother encouraged artistic expression, which manifested first as drawing, painting, and sewing. When Lena became a mother herself, she started snapping photos of her daughters—so many that she realized her true artistic passion lay in photography, which led her to found Lena Suh Photography. A former athletic competitor herself, she specializes in fitness photography, but Lena also captures family photos and senior portraits.
