Working Adult Learning Lifelong Skills, or W.A.L.L.S. Inc, helps adults with developmental and physical disabilities become leaders. The nonprofit’s work is not only benefits adults with special needs, but northwest Indiana as well. That’s because W.A.L.L.S. Inc’s board members—who include teachers, a lawyer, and representatives from Indiana University, Simon Property Group, and Baxter Healthcare—work with community members and local businesses to provide young adults with the life and social skills necessary for success.
