Technically Black Friday 2020 is November 27, which means there’s still plenty of time to game-plan. Instead of a marathon of deals on a single day or weekend, Groupon Coupons' shopping savants expect the holiday deals to start much earlier, some as early as October and last through the first weeks of November. Because of the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and stay-at-home orders, retailers are playing it safe when it comes to crowds and shipping. That means fewer people in stores at a time and more time for holiday gifts to arrive.

But some things we don't expect will change. Shoppers will still see doorbusters on electronics at brands like Best Buy and Walmart. And all the major brands like Target, Kohl’s, and Gamestop will offer their biggest discounts—expect savings between 20% and 60%—online. In fact, retailers are likely to incentivize shoppers who stay home and buy online with extra saving this Black Friday.
