A really pleasant day out with family after a long period of COVID isolation. Staff (crew and captain) were friendly and helpful. Great views of the interesting and varied houses along the riverfront.

Well, where to start... I looked for a groupon about 1000 Islands cruises and found that one. I compared with merchant website and was a good deal. So I bought the groupon. I received instructions by email in order to redeem this deal on merchant website. Then started the nightmare... I followed instructions with the Redemption Code provided by Groupon to enter while filling up the form. But the code didn't work. As the merchant website is not the most user friendly I gave several tries. But each time I could not get the cost to go to 0$. So I first tried to reach merchant by phone, impossible to reach them... So I tried by email. I got a reply the day after with instructions to follow. One step is to select the kind of discount (Groupon or other discount sellers). The problem there is no option to select Groupon as the discount/deal seller, just a box to put the code in. So I just typed in the code as I already tried. But of course at the end it didn't work... At one point I contacted Groupon Support by chat and the person checked for the code and he sent me the code I was supposed to use : "0259-5288". The code I received from them after I bought the groupon was "2595288" which is different as the number of characters. I then tried the code the agent in the chat gave me and it worked finally. Don't forget there is another code to enter as well during the process (read carefully all information you have received). So this experience was for me painful and stressful. Hopefully I bought the groupon a few weeks before the date I registered. I used a few times Groupon with no problem but I wonder if I will still buy another deal with them. I have been told that "Travelzoo" is very good. I don't know this service but I may give it a try and "Bye Groupon!".

Well organized and nice trip but would prefer the trip if it only went west where there are more islands to see. Surprise HST 5$ per person. Excellent deal with groupon. Cute town also. Seating is benches along the sides of the ship or plastic chairs. Children on tour seemed bored.

We enjoyed the sunset cruise through the islands on a warm mid summer evening. It was gorgeous. Warm breezes off the river, beautiful views, the islands dotted with cottages, and the scent of fire pits being lit for evening entertaining with friends. Many cottagers waved as the cruise boat passed their island homes, wine glasses or beer bottles in hands. Lovely experience, highly recommended.

Amazing time spent with family. It's was a beautiful trip. All I had to pay was the tax amount which was 5 CAD per person. We were 2 adults and one infant. Infant was free. Nice space and great views. Good customer service.

the trip was good, but very disappointed that i had to pay extra $5 per person at the location. What is the point of buying from Grupon the same amount ended up as i would buy from their site directly.

The trip was perfect. Left on time, great information provided about the sights we were seeing. Great little tour and a perfect way to spend an afternoon and get a taste of the thousand islands.

About 1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises

When Captain Andy boarded his first ship at age 17, he had no time for sightseeing—the young merchant marine was too busy hauling iron ore, road salt, and coal to factories along the banks of the Great Lakes. Maybe that's why Captain Andy now takes such delight in whizzing past idyllic islands at 45 mph in the newest addition to his fleet, a Wildcat catamaran. Though an adrenalin rush accounts for some of the Wildcat's appeal, Captain Andy is most pleased that the boat's speeds can help him expose passengers to even more island attractions during his informative and entertaining tours.

A native Ontarian, Captain Andy touts the Brockville waterfront as one of the most accessible and diverse in the world, and happily points out his favourite waterfront parks for picnicking and fishing during his trips. In the same vein, his cruising company offers seven diverse tours that incorporate adventure, theatre performances, and local sightseeing to help riders experience all the wonders of the area by water. The seasoned sailor also recognizes the advantage of helming his smaller ships; their compact size not only ensures more intimate tours and more time with passengers, but allows them to duck into the region's narrow channels where larger boats and determined icebergs can't follow.
