About 18|8 Fine Men's Salon

Before 1913, the oxidation and corrosion of metals was a real problem—but metallurgist Harry Brearley changed all that. He found that by blending in 18% chromium with 8% nickel, he could create a more flawless material called stainless steel. This better-performing, better-looking production standard came to be called 18/8. It's also the philosophy of 18/8 Fine Men's Salon: use modern methods to help men look, feel, and perform better.

It starts with the salon's ambiance. Earthen-slate wall tiles and polished floors offer a masculine vibe as skilled stylists craft sleek scissors cuts and shape nails during appropriately titled MANicures. Guests may also request a classic shave session, complete with hot lather, hot towels, and a straight edge sharper than a machete with a MENSA membership.
