Customers begin by submitting their measurements, either with the company’s easy-to-follow body-measurement guide or—if they already own something that fits perfectly—with the garment-measurement guide. Once measurements have reached them, the clothiers get to work. After creating a custom jacket pattern, tailors hand-cut the cloth and set to stitching various functional flourishes. They reinforce four inner pockets with hand-sewn cloth jets, cross-stitch the armholes, and handcraft the collar. For shirts, the sartorialists hand-cut the client’s choice of cuff, which comes complete with contrasting fabric on its opposite side.
