What You'll Get
Uncle Groupon wants you to feel good. He wants you to treat yourself right. But he knows from experience that its hard to drop hundreds of dollars on a massage with all the other bills to pay: heat, gas, food, alimony, Skull & Bones membership dues, wig repair, etc. And all those mounting bills just make for even more stress. Your muscles & bones need a little love, and because Groupon loves you, we're offering a 30-minute massage from LillieAnn's for just $20. That's 50% off the normal price of $40 - which is already an incredible value for this well-respected, quality massage that has an average 5/5 star rating from on their Yelp page, including this enthusiastic review:
Ohhhhhhhh yeah, massages that will knock all the kinks out of your body...After two sessions, my body has improved so much. I noticed a huge difference in how I hold myself and how the tension and stress is held in my body. The sessions are reasonably priced....I used to think getting a massage was a treat but now I realize how much I needed it for my well being. The location is very peaceful and zen and clean and parking is fairly easy in the west loop. I highly recommend it.
LillieAnn's is located at 1260 West Washington Blvd Suite 102 (view map). The particular half-hour massage featured today combines 3 techniques (Swedish, Sports & Deep-Tissue) to provide relaxing, restorative therapy to your muscles. Swedish massage applies deep pressure against the muscles hidden in the middle of your body, organizing to tie themselves into knots just to annoy you. This technique invigorates your nerves, muscles, glands and circulation. It also makes Swedish meatballs taste better. Sports massage helps relieve the stress & tension that build up in the soft muscle tissues during physical activity & enables you to perform physical feats your peak potential. Your touchdown dances will have an added vigor. Deep tissue, or neuromuscular massage uses long slow strokes to lengthen muscle fibers and restore balance. You'll become much better at rowing and Scrabble.
You might also consider LillieAnn's many other affordable & renowned services, including pregnancy massage, thai massage, various interestingly-titled facials, and the famous LillieAnn's "Body Butter Wrap." If the Body Butter Wrap were a food item, it would be disgusting, but instead it's a massage and skin treatment, and it's awesome. Or at least the Chicago Sun Times thinks so...
Consider upping the ante with a body wrap and a massage combo: it consists of a warm, hydrating body butter wrap, which includes a light, dry-exfoliation for winter weary skin and cocoons you in soothing, heated body butter. Next, you're treated to a massage and offered a cup of tea.

Beginning with a single therapist who exclusively worked from home and made house calls, lillieAnn’s eventually grew large enough to lay roots with a physical location. The practice’s priorities remained the same despite this growth, and the therapists fully commit to treating their clients’ specific concerns by incorporating personalized combinations of massage modalities. These combinations draw from an arsenal of techniques and can include gentle Swedish strokes, firm deep-tissue pressure, or rejuvenating sports-massage work. To complement massage services, aestheticians perform waxing treatments and facials, which leave skin as smooth and hydrated as a water balloon full of face cream.
Chicago magazine praised the studio’s affordability and “no-frills” setting as well as the therapists’ dedication to custom treatments, placing lillieAnn’s on its 2010 Best of Chicago list.
