212 Degrees Hotpot and Grill House
212 degrees. That's the temperature at which water begins to bubble, seethe, and boil. It makes sense that the owners of 212 Degrees Hotpot and Grill House named their restaurant after this phenomenon, considering that they've outfitted each table in their dining room with a pot designed to keep broth boiling steadily. Diners create DIY feasts by dunking rib-eye steak, shrimp, and other savory morsels into this simmering liquid.
The other half of the menu is dedicated to sumptuous Korean-style barbecue. This, too, is prepared tableside: servers simply remove the hot pot at the center of the table to reveal a communal grill. Then they present diners with plate after plate of bulgogi beef, short ribs, king oyster mushrooms, and other proteins to sear up and pair with sides of kimchi. Glasses of draft beer, cocktails, and Vietnamese iced coffee complete the dining experience.
