After years of working in stressful managerial jobs, Brrasie Walmer took a step back and decided to pursue a career that allowed her to take better care of herself—and others. In 2007, she enrolled in Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts and learned myriad ways to manipulate the muscles, including Swedish, deep-tissue, myofascial-release, and reflexology massage techniques. She also learned to keep her internal battery fully charged through tai chi, yoga, and good nutrition.
