37th and Zen
Sundays are a drag at 37th and Zen. That's not an insult, it's a compliment. More accurately, it's the name of the restaurant's weekly brunch, which pairs mimosas and upscale American fare with performances by some of the area's most outrageously glamorous female impersonators. While drag performers sing, dance, and flutter their prodigious eyelashes, diners chow down on brunch favorites including savory sandwiches, hearty salads, and seared ahi tuna with house chips. Lunch and dinner are equally as delicious, but 37th and Zen isn't just a restaurant. It's also a nightclub. At a place where even tranquil Sunday mornings center on show-stopping drag queens, it's not surprising that the stage lights up at night, when musicians and DJs transform the spot into a pulse-revving party site.
