What You'll Get
The best way to capture a wild, rampaging meal is to hook it with a gigantic pasta lasso. Test your throwin' arm with today's Groupon. For $30, you get $60 worth of food and drink at Phil Stefani's 437 Rush, located off the Magnificent Mile in River North. Phil Stefani's 437 Rush is open daily, excluding Sundays.
437 Rush, part of the Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants group, brings the traditions of the Italian steakhouse to Chicago, with a menu orchestrated by Italian-born culinary composer Federico Comacchio. The dinner menu offers modern updates on Italian classics, just like a remake of The Bicycle Thief with the bicycle replaced by a Segway. Begin your dining experience with the 437 antipasto ($16), an appetizer bringing together cold cuts, aged parmigiano, and assorted olives, or opt for a Caesar salad ($8), served in an edible shell of parmigiano cheese for double dining delight. Chart a course for choppy channels with 437 Rush's slate of prime steaks, including a 12-ounce filet mignon ($35), a 14-ounce veal chop ($37), and a 30-ounce prime rib-eye chop ($46), or patch up your high-school feud with King Neptune by ordering the Pacific Chilean sea bass ($29). Parachute instructors preferring pasta can freefall into one of 437 Rush's house specials, including fettucine with an arentina duck ragu ($22), spaghetti in a tomato basil sauce ($15), or vitello alla valdostana ($36), a veal cutlet with forest mushrooms, potato and fontina croquette, and summer black truffle. Though just a side, the restaurant's baked potato ($5)—also available as a twice-baked potato ($7)—has earned a reputation among diners and theoretical physicists as a delicious potato portal to a wondrous world of sour cream clouds and chive meadows.
Toast the forthcoming summer equinox with a signature cocktail ($11) from Phil Stefani's 437 Rush's roster of refreshing drinks as you and your fellow foodies relax in the restaurant's charming interior of black-and-white tiled floors, Art Deco murals, and bright lighting. Reservations are required, so get your Groupon and schedule your evening of elegant Italian eats at Phil Stefani's 437 Rush.
