Come to NYC's 54 Below to enjoy the all-too-rare opportunity to hear jazz songstress Peggy King. King, a living legend who's worked with numerous musical luminaries, including Frank Sinatra, Harry James, Sammy Davis Jr. and Andre Previn, has played with the All-Star Jazz Trio for over four decades. One of the first stars to be honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Peggy sang in a 1956 TV clip featured in the recent acclaimed HBO film about Liberace, Behind the Candelabra. Jazz Times recently praised King, saying "her intonation, interpretive powers, subtle sense of swing and range are better than they were in 1955."
