What You'll Get
Antique shows are full of one-of-a-kind treasures, such as out-of-print records and pendants whittled out of George Washington’s finger bones. Dig up something special with this GrouponLive deal to the 56th Annual Spring Fox Valley Antiques Show at the Kane County Fairgrounds. For $8, you get general admission for two (up to a $16 value). The show runs Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In its 56th annual show, this year entitled Blooming Antiques, the Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association invites dealers from across 14 states to display their vintage wares. Fifty-seven sellers set up shop with eye-catching pieces of American decorative art, including fine paintings, folk sculptures, and hardwood furniture dating as far back as the 18th century. Among the slated vendors are Donna Finegan Antiques, who curates a collection of 1800s-era clothing and housewares, and R.L. Myers Americana and Folk Art, who stocks their booth with wrought-iron pieces and watercolors. Missouri Plain Folk presents their trove of painted game boards, including old-timey renditions of Parcheesi and Chinese Checkers, as well as an early prototype of Sorry! entitled My Humblest Apologies.
Though this merchant sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.

About Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association (CSADA)
Fifteen states. Fifty-five dealers. Four centuries of art. The Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association (CSADA) makes its mission preserving and passing on American artifacts—some older even than the country itself. It holds two shows a year: the Spring Fox Valley Antiques Show, founded in 1957, and the Fall Fox Valley Antiques Show, founded in 1974. Visitors to either of these expos will find such goods as 19th- and 20th-century paintings, American country furniture, antique firearms and edged weapons, and industrial artifacts.
